Gallery Concept

Feasibility Study

This conceptual study looked at the feasibility of a refurbishment and extension for a small museum in eastern England. Model making was used to understand the collection, lighting and spatial arrangement of the architecture. It shows how new top-lit galleries, temporary exhibition spaces as well as new visitor amenities and centre for learning could be programmed into the compact site; working as a fantastic design tool for the whole team.

This work was carried out whilst in employment at Stanton Williams Architects. Images used with their kind permission.
